A new approach to the generalized Springer correspondence

The Springer resolution of the nilpotent cone is used to give a geometric construction irreducible representations Weyl groups. Borho and MacPherson obtain correspondence by applying decomposition theorem resolution, establishing an injective map from set group simple equivariant perverse sheaves on cone.
